Maya Averi

Maya Averi

Writer, Producer, and Marketing Manager

Maya Averi is a published writer and accomplished commercial producer with over 25 years of expertise in storytelling and branding. A Chicagoland native, she led the branding division of a national eCommerce and marketing agency, collaborating with global and local companies to elevate their narratives across various platforms. Her writing has been featured in Blink Ink Magazine and multiple anthologies, and she is set to release her debut book.

After transitioning to an in-house role at a Racine manufacturer, Maya built a production studio from the ground up, creating commercials and digital campaigns while managing marketing initiatives. Her skillset spans screenwriting, commercial production, social media strategy, and crafting content that captivates audiences and drives brand loyalty.

Matt Binetti

Matt Binetti

Matt Binetti is a seasoned non-fiction storyteller with over 20 years of experience in crafting compelling TV and web content. A Racine, Wisconsin native, Matt began his journey in storytelling while earning a B.A. in Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin—Madison, where he gained hands-on production experience at PBS affiliate WHA TV.

After moving to New York City in 2005, Matt produced reality TV for leading networks like the History Channel and HGTV, creating engaging content for diverse audiences. In 2010, he earned a master’s degree in media studies from The New School, deepening his expertise in the evolving media landscape.

In 2017, Matt returned to Wisconsin to launch Reservoir Video Co., blending his passion for storytelling with innovative production techniques. His work spans pilot development, story-producing, and commercial content, consistently delivering impactful narratives that resonate with audiences.

Jason Love

Jason Love

Director of the Racine Video Production Workshop

Jason Love is the director of the Racine Video Production Workshop. He studied film and media creation at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and received his MBA at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. He has worked with such clients as NBC, ABC, PBS, Buzzfeed, and others.

Jason started teaching animation classes in 2006 and launched the Racine Video Production Workshop in 2007 to put on media production educational programs with Racine Unified School District.

Along with his workshops, Jason Love runs his own YouTube Channel, creates social media videos with local organizations, and is currently working on a feature film on the topic of Mental Illness.
